This fun free game sets you the challenge of seeing how far you can guide a missile. In order to get distance on your bombs you need to make them travel as fast as possible. You control the speed of the missiles by repeatedly tapping two buttons on the display. The faster you hit the keys the faster and further the weapon will travel.
Getting a good score in Missiles takes a lot of skill and practice. The temptation is to bash the iPhone as hard as you can, but take care because this could damage both the phone and your thumbs. The aim is to beat your highest score and those of others online. After each game, you get the option to publish your score to the online leaderboard. Don't expect to get anywhere near the top though, because some of the players up there seem to have impossibly high scores.
Missiles can be pretty addictive, although the novelty soon wears off once you've tested all the different bombs and realized it's humanly impossible to get beyond a certain speed.
